Went to to SME [it will allways be SME] for Anzac Day 2002.
Huge crowd was present and a very good dawn service, the singing
Sapper on top of the museum was great, with his rendition of "and
they played waltzing matilda". Must say beer doesn't taste
good at 6:10 am like it used to. Your site made many a mention from
serving & non serving members.
I was told of a web site www.cpmh.net
which gives details of imposters/wannabes with false medals etc,
unfortunately we have one of our ex Sappers involved. Pat Tangley
would not be impressed.
Keep up the good work, as they all said just look up the WA site.

Anything on ex apprentices would be great as it is never mentioned
in any memorabilia etc. we have a large no. of ex 36th intake engineers
in perth and i would like to see if one day we could march with
the army apprentices insignia, within the corps of engineers. Many
ex diggers whom I met last anzac day were from the 5th, 12th and
later intakes which was a spinout as it has been going since the
early 50's good site, especially the photo's of S.M.E. and 22 const.
